Two university friends, Diego and Mateo, spent their early twenties swapping decants, debating olfactory notes, and hunting down hard‑to‑find bottles. What frustrated them most wasn’t the search itself, but the inflated prices and limited access for customers outside big luxury hubs. In 2021 they pooled their savings, filled a spare bedroom with shipping boxes, and opened an online storefront that promised luxury scents without the traditional mark‑up.
Word spread quickly from Mexico City to Austin. By partnering directly with authorized distributors, the duo kept costs low and authenticity high. Today Scentland ships to every postcode in Mexico and the U.S., yet still hand‑writes a “thank you” note in each package—a reminder of the friends’ original pledge to mix honesty, loyalty, and respect into every spritz.
